These packs of sliced meats are perfect for hampers and picnics, they can be used in sandwiches or served simply on platter for a delicious tapas dish. You do not need to refrigerate them before opening as long as they are kept ambient (below 20 degrees). Once opened they will keep for up to 4 weeks in the fridge. Embutidos Serón Peña-Cruz is a traditional family business in Almeria, Southern Spain. Founded in 1988 and run by Enrique Peña, the company currently has 10 employees with expertise and the latest technology in the sector.
Only high quality meats are selected and each step of the production process is closely monitored. They themselves mix, weigh and measure the natural spices and ingredients that are used to flavour and cure the meats.
The classic Spanish entrée, the word ’Entremeses’ normally has Spaniards anticipating an appetising display of jamon, chorizo, etc. Serve at room temperature alongside some fresh bread and a fresh tomato salad drizzled in fine olive oil. Also fantastic on brushetta.
Try as pizza topping or on top of cheese on toast; a little warming under the grill or in the oven will allow the oils within the meats to drizzle into the cheese and, mmm…. :)
