Torre Real is the high quality delicatessen food brand of Miguel Torres S.A. the very same, very famous estate wine producer originating in Catalonia.
Bonito Tuna: Every year Bonito del Norte tuna migrate north as far as the Bay of Biscay in northern Spain. During the summer they fatten up for their return journey south. Just when the tuna are in top shape, fishermen harvest them with rods and live bait. Not only is this humane, it safeguards the quality of the meat. Within 24 hours they are cooked in seawater and packed by hand in olive oil. The result is the most tender, silky canned tuna in the world.
Olives: Torres use carefully selected specimens of manzanilla olives variety hand-harvested from the Seville area of Aljarafe.
Bonito Tuna: A pure and fine specimen of the Mediterranean diet, delicious served in a nicoise salad made with lettuce, hard-boiled eggs, olives and anchovies.
Olives: Drain and pour into a shallow dish and serve as a tapas with a glass of dry sherry or white wine, alongside a dish of salted marcona almonds.
